Integrative Family Health Clinic in Bolton and the Greater Caledon Area

Are you tired of feeling exhausted
for no reason?

Getting overheated or experiencing hot flashes?

Having difficulty sleeping throughout the night?

If you’re in your 40s-50s you may be experiencing the unwanted effects of peri/menopause. Does that mean you have to give in to these crappy symptoms?

Absolutely not!

You don’t have to ‘learn to live’ with menopausal issues like:

daily fatigue, insomnia, hot flashes, night sweats, bloating, brain fog, stubborn belly fat or mood changes.

By the time women come to me they have tried the fad diets, the random supplements that a friend suggested but most of all they are tired! Tired of feeling crappy and tired of being a lesser version of who they once were.

If you’re here, then a quick and easily solution probably didn’t work well for you. And you didn’t see lasting results.

Can't I wait it out? Won't these symptoms go away as I get older?

Maybe the symptoms will dissipate but what’s more likely is that those symptoms will worsen with time. The key hormones are fluctuating during the perimenopause stage can continue to impact our heart, brain, digestion, bones and more!

The reality is that although menopause is a natural part of a woman’s life,
it is not meant to be difficult.

What you need to do is identify your triggers, relief your worst symptoms as quickly as possible and then start building the foundations of health so you keep your results for good.

If this resonates with you, you’re invited to:

The (Peri)Menopause Relief Program

Natural hormone support for women in their 40s, 60s, and even 60s.

% of women experience hot flashes & sweating at night
% of women live with daily fatigue
% report trouble sleeping
% notice a difference in their mood

This program is designed for you if you are experiencing any combination of these symptoms:

…and that’s just the short list.

In just 8 weeks, you can start enjoying life — symptom free!

We do this using our 3-step system:

Understanding your body

Identify triggers

Get a better understanding of your hormone triggers so you can prevent feeling overheated, tired and irritated.

You’ll see the key hormones that need balancing – not just estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, but also thyroid hormones, adrenal hormones and insulin. This phase of the system takes a comprehensive look at your TOTAL hormone health that eliminates the guesswork.

You will track our specific symptoms to identify the worst triggers; those things that are undermining you on a daily basis. We will tackle these first!

Soothing the body and mind

Remove symptoms

In this phase you will reduce the distress around problematic symptoms that affect your body and mind.

You will relieve the top 3-4 symptoms that are bothering you – hot flashes, poor sleep, fatigue and mood changes.

You will individually meet with Dr. Rupa ND, to evaluate your specific health concerns including blood work review and addressing your questions.

You will get practical solutions to start implementing immediately. This will include helpful suggestions on vitamins, minerals and herbal medicine that kickstart the hormone balancing act.

Ensure lasting relief

Rebuild the foundation

This part of the program is the largest one because you and I both know that sustainable results require time to implement and create a lifestyle.

You put into place the foundations of health to maintain your results and create a reliable hormonal future.

The foundations of health will always be:

    • quality nutrition
    • healthy movement
    • good sleep
    • stress reduction
    • nature
    • laughter

Meet Dr. Rupa, ND

As someone who has had her fair share of “hormonal problems,” I can absolutely relate to not feeling yourself when your hormones take over. Knowing that something isn’t quite right but it’s brushed aside because we’re supposed to embrace the hormonal ups and downs, right?… I believe otherwise.

After countless doctor’s visit and a myriad of diagnoses later – including hypothyroidism, endometriosis, PCOS and fibroids – I know that answer is in the daily habits we embody and the choices we make for the betterment of our hormones – but more importantly for the betterment of ourselves and our families.

I strongly believe that working with our bodies (and minds) can do wonders for our health. What does that mean? It means to understand our inner workings, to provide natural relief and to also set forth on a path to create sustainable health.

The natural changes that occur during peri/menopause are a part of life but there’s a difference between succumbing to the discomfort of symptoms and aging gracefully. I love to work with women to help them get more energy, more motivation and more self love.

What makes this program different is that it is conducted and advised by a registered naturopathic doctor.

Dr. Rupa Salwan, ND

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. You can pay in two easy payments of $330 each. The first payment is due upon signing up for the program and second payment is due 3 weeks later. If you decide to pay in full at the time of sign up, you get a $105 discount.
Many extended insurance plans will cover the cost of the 1:1 naturopathic appointment. If you have employee benefits or third-party private insurance, it may cover all or part of the cost of this therapeutic treatment program. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider and confirm whether your plan covers naturopathic medicine, including group treatment. Following receipt of your payment after the session, you will be provided with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance provider. For those of you who don’t have insurance plans to cover the cost of care, you may claim the cost of the program as a medical expense; consult your tax professional for advice and assistance.

Not every week. Although we can provide you with a flurry of information, bottom line is that your body will need time to create those subtle changes in your hormones. Instead, we have Ask Anything drop in group meetings to provide clarification, troubleshoot and celebrate wins!

You will be given access to a platform with all the replay videos so you can keep up and stay on track in the comfort of your home.

Any of your questions can also be asked at the Ask Anything sessions as well as in your 1:1 appointment.

Not quite. This program is a natural alternative to hormone replacement therapy, although Dr. Rupa Salwan ND does assess women for the use of hormone replacement in her clinic.

Because you need a prescription for BHRT (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy) it is best to see Dr. Rupa Salwan, naturopathic doctor,in her private practice. This program includes a 1:1 session with her however, you may need more testing and a longer appointment to decide of this is a good option for you.

Yes! Modern hysterectomies remove the uterus WITHOUT removal of the ovaries. This means that although you may be not be bleeding anymore, the hormone imbalances may still occur because of the effects of the ovaries and other glands within.

Typical symptoms:

  • Irregular periods
  • Hot flashes
  • Breast tenderness
  • Vaginal dryness

Case Study

“Thank you! I feel so much better! — Participant JM

JM first came to me because her hair was thinning and she was experiencing uncomfortable hot flashes. They made her more irritable and she was “high strung.” Easily snapping at family and having poor concentration at work. She wouldn’t get more than 4 hours of continuous sleep and was very tired every day for years.

With a naturopathic approach JM learned how to naturally balance key hormones. She noticed less hair fall, zero hot flashes and had the energy to start exercising!
