Getting overheated or experiencing hot flashes?
Having difficulty sleeping throughout the night?
If you’re in your 40s-50s you may be experiencing the unwanted effects of peri/menopause. Does that mean you have to give in to these crappy symptoms?
Absolutely not!
You don’t have to ‘learn to live’ with menopausal issues like daily fatigue, insomnia, hot flashes, night sweats, bloating, brain fog, stubborn belly fat or mood changes.
By the time women come to me they have tried the fad diets, the random supplements that a friend suggested but most of all they are tired! Tired of feeling crappy and tired of being a lesser version of who they once were.
If you’re here, then a quick and easily solution probably didn’t work well for you. And you didn’t see lasting results.
Can’t I wait it out? Won’t these symptoms go away as I get older?
Maybe the symptoms will dissipate but what’s more likely is that those symptoms will worsen with time. The key hormones are fluctuating during the perimenopause stage can continue to impact our heart, brain, digestion, bones and more! The reality is that although menopause is a natural part of a women’s life it is not meant to be difficult.
What you need to do is identify your triggers, relief your worst symptoms as quickly as possible and then start building the foundations of health so you keep your results for good.
If that resonates with you, you’re invited to:
Natural hormone support for women in their 40-50s (and even 60s).
This program was designed for you if you are experiencing any combination of these symptoms:

As someone who has had her fair share of “hormonal problems,” I can absolutely relate to not feeling yourself when your hormones take over. Knowing that something isn’t quite right but it’s brushed aside because we’re supposed to embrace the hormonal ups and downs, right?… I believe otherwise.
After countless doctor’s visit and a myriad of diagnoses later – including hypothyroidism, endometriosis, PCOS and fibroids – I know that answer is in the daily habits we embody and the choices we make for the betterment of our hormones – but more importantly for the betterment of ourselves and our families.
I strongly believe that working with our bodies (and minds) can do wonders for our health. What does that mean? It means to understand our inner workings, to provide natural relief and to also set forth on a path to create sustainable health.
The natural changes that occur during peri/menopause are a part of life but there’s a difference between succumbing to the discomfort of symptoms and aging gracefully. I love to work with women to help them get more energy, more motivation and more self love.

Any of your questions can also be asked at the Ask Anything sessions as well as in your 1:1 appointment.
Not quite. This program is a natural alternative to hormone replacement therapy, although Dr. Rupa Salwan ND does assess women for the use of hormone replacement in her clinic.
Because you need a prescription for BHRT (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy) it is best to see Dr. Rupa Salwan, naturopathic doctor,in her private practice. This program includes a 1:1 session with her however, you may need more testing and a longer appointment to decide of this is a good option for you.

Yes! Modern hysterectomies remove the uterus WITHOUT removal of the ovaries. This means that although you may be not be bleeding anymore, the hormone imbalances may still occur because of the effects of the ovaries and other glands within.
As long as you are experiencing the typical symptoms of menopause then you can benefit.
Typical symptoms:
JM first came to me because her hair was thinning and she was experiencing uncomfortable hot flashes. They made her more irritable and she was “high strung.” Easily snapping at family and having poor concentration at work. She wouldn’t get more than 4 hours of continuous sleep and was very tired every day for years.
With a naturopathic approach JM learned how to naturally balance key hormones. She noticed less hair fall, zero hot flashes and had the energy to start exercising!
