Homeopathy

A gentle and holistic approach

What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine that uses highly diluted substances to treat various ailments. Developed by Samuel Hahnemann, it is based on two key principles:

  1. Like Cures Like: This principle suggests that a substance that can cause symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat similar symptoms in a sick person when highly diluted.
  2. Law of Minimum Dose: Homeopathic remedies are often diluted to a point where little or no molecules of the original substance remain. It’s believed that this process, combined with shaking (succussion), activates the healing properties of the remedy.

In essence, homeopathy proposes that by administering minute amounts of a substance that would cause the same symptoms as the illness, the body’s natural healing abilities can be stimulated.

Homeopathy is often used for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including:

  • Colds, flu, and respiratory infections
  • Allergies
  • Anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions
  • Digestive disorders
  • Skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis
  • Chronic pain (e.g., arthritis)

Homeopathy is a personalized approach to healthcare that uses highly diluted natural substances to stimulate the body's healing abilities. Practitioners prescribe remedies based on the patient's individual symptoms and overall health, aiming to treat the whole person rather than just specific ailments.

Initial Visit

Your initial reflexology visit will be approximately 120 minutes (90 minutes for children), which will include an assessment and treatment recommendation.

During a homeopathic intake, individuals can expect a comprehensive evaluation of their mental health concerns. The practitioner will gather detailed information about their symptoms, emotions, behaviors, and overall lifestyle to identify patterns and select the most appropriate remedy.

Subsequent Appointments

Follow-up appointments typically take 30-45 minutes, either virtually or in-office. Homeopathy emphasizes ongoing monitoring to track changes in the individual’s mental health. Regular follow-up consultations are crucial to assess the efficacy of the remedy and to make adjustments as needed.
